Come and join us for a magical evening of music that takes nature as inspiration and is designed to transport the audience to a special time and place in each piece. Includes post-concert meet & greet reception in the fellowship hall.

Back by popular demand, we’re giving you an opportunity to hear the solo voices of our ACMF artists in works by Bach and his friends. By friends, we don’t only mean Bach’s contemporaries, but all the composers who were inspired by his incredible solo works for stringed instruments.

Come experience some musical highlights of the festival in Historic Harpers ferry! This celebratory program is a real tour-de force of chamber music repertoire, starting off with the virtuosic double bass and baritone showcase by Mozart, “Per questa Bella” featuring Sam Suggs and Thomas Coltman.

Unwind and celebrate the magic of music together at ACMF's vibran finale! Bring your family and friends and join us in celebraing the end of our 5th season! This casual, family-friendly, one-hour concert has something for everyone and is the perfect way relax and enjoy a summer afternoon.

Music and wine pairing with food at 868 Estate Vineyards, to be held in their beautiful indoor tasting room. Curated by ACMF wine aficionado and violinist, Martin Gwilym-Jones, this is a special event you won’t want to miss. Seats are limited!

Free outdoor event with ACMF and the Howard Burns Quartet. Made possible in part thanks to the Harpers Ferry National Historical Park, Harpers Ferry Park Association, and the Corporation of Harpers Ferry.

Join us for this one-hour sunset concert on the lawn of historic Storer College in Harpers Ferry for the music of jazz legend and Storer College alumnus, Don Redman. Back by popular request, ACMF String musicians are delighted to collaborate with the Howard Burns jazz quartet. Featuring original arrangements by ACMF artist Chris Jusell of some of Redman’s most celebrated jazz works.

Back by popular demand! Join us for a one-hour late morning "coffee concert" filled with delectable miniature works for two players. This concert will feature the coming together of our talented wind and string players in a delightfully causal and intimate experience. Coffee and treats will be provided. Not to be missed!

Opening weekend highlight event, featuring world premiere by Karen Walwyn. Schedule includes a free daytime art exhibit, then a ticketed event including a 5 pm pre-concert discussion, 6 pm concert with post-concert reception.

This is the second concert in our Coffee Concerts in Shepherdstown Series, new for 2025! This short, sweet and powerful performance will feature British baritone Thomas Coltman joining us again this year from his native Wales as well as flautist Sinéad Farrell in performances of Bach’s celebrated cantata no. 82 “Ich habe Genug” and the Badiniere from Bach’s Suite in B-minor. We couldn’t think of a more fitting title to perform early in the dat on a Sunday than “Ich habe Genug” literally translates to “I have enough”, and thought it was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the great joys of music nestled in the community of Shepherdstown.

This hour-long concert of chamber masterpieces, both classic and contemporary have been chosen for their evocative imagery. These sonic landscapes will be amplified by powerful artwork displayed on the big screen, expertly curated by Jordan Burke. Arrive early to hear Jordan's insightful pre-concert talk, exploring the visual selections and their connection to the music.

Make an evening of it! Purhase tickets to Dinner at Bistro 112 (SALES CLOSED) and the 8:30pm performance of "Film & Music" featuring an original score set to the 1911 Italian silent film "L'Inferno".

A special pop-up event in historic downtown Harpers Ferry (Time and exact location TBD; Informal event, approx. 20 mins, no seating / no tickets or RSVPs)

Inspired by the story of John Brown, composer Ailbhe McDonagh wrote her first string quartet, “Appalachian” as a commission for the first ever season of ACMF back in 2021. Concert is free and open to the public. Park visitors will pay entrance fee for Harpers Ferry National Historical Park; park at the Visitor's Center (171 Shoreline Drive, Harpers Ferry, WV) and ride the shuttle to downtown Harpers Ferry.

A weekend chamber music workshop for adult musicians with coaching provided by ACMF's festival musicians! Both preformed groups and individual musicians are welcome. Lunch provided both days. For strings with limited spots for woodwind and brass. Apply by July 1!
